It was a billionaire and celeb-filled event at the grand finale of Fatima Aliko Dangote and Jamil Abubakar‘s wedding took place in Lagos on Friday 23rd January, after a week-long celebration which started in Kano, then Abuja.

The father of the bride is Africa’s richest man – billionaire Aliko Dangote. The guest list included billionaires at home and abroad including Bill Gates and Femi Otedola.

Politicians, celebrities and socialites alike celebrated with the couple – Vice President Osinbajo and his wife Dolapo, Bola Tinubu and Remi Tinubu, the Emir of Kano, Mo Abudu, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Omowunmi Akinnifesi, DJ Cuppy, Toolz, CNN’s Stephanie Busari, Debola Williams, Waje, Omawumi, Dolapo Oni Sijuwade, Rukaiya Dantata and Usman Dantata and more.

The dress code was baby pink – a damask head tie was gifted to select guests, which most paired with pink lace.

We do wish someone had gifted Bill Gates with an agbada or babanriga – we’re sure he would have looked great, and most importantly, they won’t have overlooked him for small chops, souvenirs or jollof rice!
